To open a new Coogan Account the same day

In person at a branch location:
Visit any branch and complete a Minor Blocked - Coogan Trust Membership Application

  • Bring a photocopy of valid identification (drivers license, military or state ID card, Passport) for all Trustees
  • Bring a certified copy of the minor’s birth certificate
  • Open a Share Savings Account with a $5 one-time membership fee and $50 minimum deposit (unless waived)

By e-mail or fax:
E-mail or fax copies of your completed Coogan Application

  • and supporting documents to the Coogan Help Desk at coogan@aftrasagfcu.org or (818) 843-1376
  • Mail or drop off the original application, one-time membership fee and minimum deposit to ASFCU as soon as possible.

To open a new Coogan Account through postal mail

Mail a completed Coogan Application, a photocopy of valid identification for all Trustees, a certified copy of the minor’s birth certificate, and the one-time membership fee and minimum deposit to:

To transfer an existing Coogan Account to AFTRA-SAG FCU

  • Open a Coogan Account at AFTRA-SAG FCU
  • Send a Coogan Transfer Letter to your current financial institution to let them know you wish to move your existing Coogan Account to AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union
