How do I create a User ID and Password? 
The first step is to make sure your account has been activated for virtual branch Internet access. Accounts are generally activated when you apply for membership but you can activate your account at any time by calling (800) 826-6946 and speaking with a member service representative.

If you’ve already activated your account for virtual branch Internet access and are using it for the first time, you’ll need to create a unique User ID and Password. This can be done in three easy steps:

  1. In the User ID box on the Home page, type your Account Number (e.g. “123456”)
  2. In the Password box, type the last four digits of your Social Security Number with no spaces in between followed by the word “pass” (e.g. “1234pass”).
  3. Click the “SIGN ON” button and you will be directed to a page to create a unique User ID and Password of your choosing that you will use for all future visits.

How do I retrieve or reset my User ID and/or Password? 
If you forgot your User ID and/or Password or want to change either, please contact us at (800) 826-6946 during our regular business hours. Once we verify your identity, we’ll be happy to help you.

What are virtual branch services and how do I use them?
Our virtual branch services let you manage your money on your schedule, from anywhere in the world by combining Internet, telephone, postal mail, ATMs, and other electronic methods to access your accounts – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Gone are the days of having to write checks to pay bills or drive to a branch location during business hours to make a deposit or withdrawal. Now you can check balances, make payments, transfer funds, and download account activity whenever you want from wherever you are. What is the Credit Union's routing number? 
The routing number for AFTRA-SAG Federal Credit Union is 322076233.

How do I change my address with the Credit Union?
To ensure the security of your account we require that you submit a signed change of address request to us in writing. You can fax a request to (818) 260-9495; mail it to AFTRA-SAG FCU, PO Box 11419, Burbank, CA 91510; or bring it to any branch location. Changing your address and contact information with AFTRA, SAG, their pension and health plans, or any other Select Employment Group affiliated with AFTRA-SAG FCU does not change your address with the credit union.

Why do I have to have a savings account to have a checking account?
A Share Savings account establishes you as an ASFCU member and it gives you a “share” of ownership. Once a member, you can take advantage of other products and services, including a checking account.

What documents do I need to apply for an auto loan?
Documents for an auto loan application include a loan application form and a signed purchase order.

Can I be pre-approved for an auto loan? How long is it good?
Yes. A pre-approval for an auto loan will be valid for 90 days.

Can I prepay a loan without penalty?
Yes you can. There are no prepayment penalties for ASFCU loans.
